Hey! Thanks for the comment on my little political rant. I appreciate the support … i’ve been reading your posts, and I can totally relate to you. My husband leaves the week before Thanksgiving (nice timing, huh?), and this will be our second deployment. I’m just grateful that its only a year, instead of 15 months like the last one.

Hang in there. You’re not alone (even though you may feel like it). I’ve really enjoyed the support I’ve gotten through the blogging community. It seems so strange, because I don’t really KNOW these people, but its nice to have people who are going through the same thing pull you up when you are feeling down.

I’ll be checking back often!

Just checking to see how you are and to let you know that your family is on our prayer chain. I will be asked from time to time how you are all doing…so please, keep me posted.

Again…be reminded that there are more people that care about you than you may realize. (One of our prayer team is in New Zealand…and another still in Darfur) These are former colleagues of mine…but we communicate several times a week.

Be comforted in knowing you are loved!

Hi there,

I’d like to list you on my blogroll, is that okay? And would you do the same for me?

Take care,

This is a great blog! Very informative, even for those of us who aren’t Army wives.

I loved the blog and I hope you’re doing well. Know that the REAL Americans are out here, those of us not in the military who really care about you and your spouses being taken care of and treated with distinction and respect in the manner that you have served us.

We are the ones who refuse to be aligned with the maligned, the ones who utilize logic as well as compassion in our daily lives and are horrified by what we see in our government as it reflects on our society and we will overcome this, we refuse to be silent any longer.

Know that you are in my thoughts and I will keep checking on your progress in the days to come.

Be well!
Tay

Hey, some of us lefty military wives started a social network group where we can chat and not be anonymous with each other. It’s by invite only and you have to log in, so it’s not a public forum … if you would like to join us, shoot me an email and I’ll get you the info! :) We’d love to have you.

Hope things are going well for you.
